Privacy Policy

Effective: 4 September 2026

Key point: Weydom may synchronize saved conversation history to your account. Separately, Weydom records limited, content-free usage events for service analytics. These analytics events do not contain prompts or generated answers.

1. Information We Process

Depending on how you use Weydom, we may process:

2. Conversation History

Weydom may store saved conversation history in your browser and synchronize it to your signed-in Weydom account so that saved conversations can be available through the service. Conversation history may include conversation titles, prompts, generated responses, selected modes, and related session information. Clearing browser data removes the local copy but may not remove an account-synchronized copy. You can clear conversation history using Weydom's available controls, and account deletion is intended to remove account-linked conversation records subject to applicable legal or operational retention requirements.

3. Content-Free Product Analytics

Weydom records a limited event when a signed-in user's chat is successfully completed. The event contains the user's internal account identifier, a request identifier used to prevent duplicate counting, an optional conversation/session identifier, and the server completion time. It does not contain prompt text, generated answer text, email addresses, IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or country information.

We use these events to measure active users, completed chats, repeat usage, retention, service adoption, and the development and traction of Weydom. Analytics collection begins from the date this system is enabled; we do not manufacture or infer historical events for periods before collection began. Account-linked analytics events are deleted when the corresponding authentication account is deleted.

4. AI Processing and Model Providers

Prompts and relevant context may be processed by Weydom's custom model infrastructure hosted on Modal and may also be transmitted through OpenRouter to downstream model providers for inference. OpenRouter states that it does not store prompt and response content by default unless logging or related features are enabled, but downstream model providers have different retention and training practices. We therefore do not promise that every downstream provider follows the same retention policy.

5. Service Providers

Weydom relies on third-party service providers that may process data on our behalf or as independent service providers, including:

6. Payment Information

Payment checkout is handled by Stripe. Weydom receives subscription, customer, transaction, and payment-status metadata needed to manage your plan. Weydom does not intentionally store your full payment-card number in its application database.

7. Why We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, deliver AI responses, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support, maintain service security, troubleshoot failures, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We also use limited content-free usage records to understand aggregate product usage, measure retention, monitor product development, and prepare accurate evidence of business traction.

8. Data Retention

Retention depends on the type of data and provider. Browser conversation history remains on the device until removed by the user, browser, or site-data controls. Account and subscription records may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance. Contact messages may remain in email systems used to process support requests. AI-provider retention varies by provider and routing configuration.

Content-free analytics events are retained while they remain associated with an active Weydom account and are deleted through the account-deletion cascade. Aggregate reports created from these events may be retained for business, financial, regulatory, or evidentiary purposes where they no longer identify individual users.

9. Account Deletion

The in-app account-deletion function is intended to remove the active authentication account and cancel an active Stripe subscription where one exists. Certain billing, transaction, fraud-prevention, support, or legally required records may be retained where necessary. Local browser conversation history may remain on the device unless you clear conversation history or browser/site data.

10. International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries different from the country where you live. By using Weydom, you acknowledge that data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws, subject to the safeguards and terms used by the relevant service provider.

11. Your Choices

You can clear saved conversation history in the application, cancel subscriptions through the billing portal where available, delete your account through Settings, and contact us regarding privacy questions through the in-app Contact Us form. Additional statutory privacy rights may apply depending on your location.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, confidential medical records, or other highly sensitive personal information in AI prompts.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our infrastructure, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
